Cary Library will collect donations to the Lexington Food Pantry throughout April as part of our Lexington Reads…and Eats! celebration. Collection baskets are available near the circulation desks in the Children’s Room and the adult library.
The Food Pantry particularly needs:
- 6 oz. cans of solid white tuna in water
- 15 oz. cans of: stews (beef, chicken, turkey), hashes (corned beef , roast beef), chili (with and without meat), canned fruit (lite and no sugar), and vegetables (beets, potatoes, spinach).
Perishable items cannot be accepted.
