In the Meeting Room Gallery during May . . .
Flowers in Bloom
When I began raising my family I was able to leave the office and spend my days outside again. While working in my garden and playing with my children outside, I rediscovered the change of season and the beauty of the natural world. This led me to return to my love of painting.
Nature is what inspires me Ė flowers in my garden, a bouquet for a special friend, and trees in my local park. Fresh and original, nature doesnít need to be abstract and gimmicky. Itís beautiful as is.
I have been drawing since I was a child, spending many summers on my grandmotherís farm in Poland and being surrounded by beautiful images of flowers, trees and nature. After graduating from Massachusetts College of Art, where I studies painting and design, I worked in design studios in Boston as a graphic designer for nine years.
