Anna Goszczynska

New England Landscapes and Flowers
 by Anna Goszczynska

Artist Statement:

I am constantly exploring color, light, depth, and space while working expressively and intuitively from inside out. I paint in oils for their transparency and wide spectrum of colors. The final results emerge from the process of experimentation with the paint, brush strokes and my imagination. I am inspired by New England's landscapes; through my work I hope to capture the diverse moods and incredible beauty of nature that I have witnessed.

Artist Biography:

I have had an artistic interest since my early childhood. For many years, following the completion of my degree from the Poznan University of Technology in Poland, I have had a successful career in architectural firms in Canada, USA and Europe. But a few years ago, inspired and encouraged by my daughters, I enrolled in painting classes at the School of the MFA in Boston. Since then, I have studied with many great artists and teachers. Recently I started showing my work in juried exhibitions and shows around New England and my paintings are currently in private collections.

I live in Lexington with my husband Piotr, daughter Gabi, and our two cats. Our three other daughters; Zofia, Basia, and Marysia are already pursuing their carets in the arts.
