Artist Statement:

It is my goal to capture in these paintings some of the infinite moments we share that define our lives, which vary of course from individual to individual. The paintings depict the activities or scenes any one of us might participate in or lend our attention to on any given day. Using line and color as my tools, I give these common experiences my unique and colorful interpretation, which is my inspiration.

This art project is limitless and I will do only my share of the series, linked with artists who have come before and those who will come after. I hope my efforts are worthy of a place in that line, and that in my race with time I use mine wisely.

Artist Biography:

David Copplestone, an artist and business owner, comes from an artistic family. He graduated from Fort Lewis College, Colorado and the Art Institute of Boston. David was owner of Landscape Design and a painting contractor in Wellesley. He is also owner of Copplestone Artworks: Oil Paintings, Wellesley. His is an inventor of games and owner of gourmetgames.com. David is a member of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and former member of Wellesley Artist Association, Cambridge Art Association and Copley Society.
