Artist Statement

Mark’s imagery focuses on amazing moments in the lifespan of wild animals captured with the perfect lighting, usually near sunrise or sunset. He waits for the animals to move to the ideal spot using his knowledge of animal behavior and light stemming from his extensive photographic and art education in composing his imagery. Mark hope to inspire others to spend time I the great outdoors and contribute to the vital conservation efforts that are ongoing to preserve the wilderness and species that remains.

Artist Biography:

Mark Werbeloff is a fine art photographer located in Lexington, MA. He has been making beautiful imagery of the nature world for over a decade. He is a graduate of the Bachelors of Fine Arts Program at tufts University with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts as well as a graduate of the New England School of Photography. Mark uses his extensive photographic and art background to create imagery that shows the natural world in a unique perspective that emphasizes the smaller details as well as stepping back and taking the broader look at the wilderness throughout the globe.

Mark exhibits at the yearly SMFA Art Fair, and has exhibited at Starbucks in Lexington Center. His website has a blog of his exploits and lots of spectacular images to view from around the world.
