SUMMER KICK-OFF: EARTH RHYTHMS
with Singer-songwriter Roger Tincknell
  • THURSDAY: Jun 24
    • ages 3-6: 2:30 p.m.

  • Space is limited. Free tickets available in the Cary Children’s Room beginning Monday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. Phone reservations accepted beginning at 7:30 p.m.
From rain forests to recycling, conservation to compost, Roger Tincknell’s Earth Rhythms travels from our backyard to places around the world, celebrating and teaching environmental awareness and responsibility. Captivating songs, stories, legends and facts are accompanied by the Native American rainstick, Incan Charango and flute, Russian balalaika, African Achika drum, as well as guitar, mandolin, banjo and harmonica.

This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of Cary Memorial Library and by a grant from the Lexington Cultural Council

The 2010 Children's Summer Reading Program has been generously sponsored by the Friends of Cary Memorial Library. The state-wide theme, "Go Green @ Your Library," is supported by the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
