Important dates related to the Stone Building/East Branch Library: September 22, 2008 at 3 p.m.: "Letters of Interest" are due. October 2, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Cary Hall: Open Forum to discuss the Stone Building, hosted by the Board of Trustees.

May 20, 2008 -- Stone Building Feasibility Study HKT Associates, Inc. presented their initial building feasibility findings to the library's Board of Trustees on May 20, 2008. A copy of their Powerpoint presentation is available online (pdf) or at the library's Reference Desk.
January 2008 -- Status of the East Branch Library The East Branch Library, located in the Stone Building at 735 Massachusetts Avenue, has been closed to the public since August 21, 2007 due to a serious flood problem.
