Eli Robbins back yard, corner Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street.
"Upper corner Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street. This is Eli Robbins' back yard. The small building was the dye and cooking house where the furs were prepared before they were turned over to the women to be sewed up into caps and muffs. Back of it is the big barn standing fairly near where the Catholic church now is. I do not know who the man is. Site of Catholic church." |
