| Description |
Workmen's building on Massachusetts Avenue above Eli Robbins house.
"Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant Street and the old Adams School. Stephen Robbins and his son Eli built many small houses to accommodate their workmen. One was located between the Brick Store and the Stone Building. (I have been unable to find a picture of it.) The little building shown here was the first one above the Eli Robbins house. In my boyhood days it was occupied as a tin-shop by Mr. Alonzo Goddard." |
