"This stood on the site of the present Scheibe dwelling on Lincoln Street. George F. Tewksbury bought it about 1883. Later purchased by J. Willard Hayden. Burned November 12, 1903. Ella and Irene in picture, taken about 1895. Hayden then bought the old Franklin and Warren District School houses. Moved them to Lincoln Street and made them over into the present Scheibe house."
