Thayer house.
"This was on Hancock Street next beyond the Brigham Estate about where number 48 now stands. The house was there in 1857 for David Saville, father of Leonard A. Saville. Bought the place in that year. There were various owners. Warren Batcheller bought it in 1899. He sold the house in 1902 and Robert H. White moved it to Bedford Street - now the second house beyond the Car Barn." |
