Parker homestead, Spring Street, 1910.
"This is a view of the Parker homestead on Spring Street, taken about 1910. The house, probably built before 1712, in which Captain John Parker and Reverend Theodore Parker were born, was torn down around 1840 and this is the "new" house. The stone monument, which I am sure few of you have seen, marks the birthplace of Theodore Parker." |
