Photo folder: MITCHELL (PATRICK) HOUSE, MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE
Patrick Mitchell House, Massachusetts Avenue, East Lexington.
Photographs and negatives show two houses, one from late 1700s, the other from early 1800s, joined by shed-type structure, that could also be a small workshop.
At left, a corner of his barber shop. The part of the house at right was Capelle's carpenter shop and was moved to "this" location by Mitchell and made into a separate tenement. W. P. Carlton here before Mitchell. Foundations of his leather factory just above it.
