Photo, Lexington's first Town Hall. Note included with the image says, "Our first Town Hall, built in 1846. Used for many years for both Town Hall and High School. Picture shows the 'new' recitation rooms being built on back of original part. Moved off in 1901. Previous to 1846 town meetings were held in the old church on the Common. The present high school is on the same spot."
