Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) Post 119 Associate medal, 1904.
Top of medal: eagle seated on crossed cannon & cannon balls. Bottom of medal: 5-pointed star with "Post 119 Associate GAR"; blue ribbon connecting two parts.
Handwritten note: "Post 119 Lexington GAR Association. This was presented to George E. Worthen when the "Associates" were formed by the Post in 1904. The presentation to those invited to join, & luncheon, was in the GAR's new quarters in the new Savings Bank Building."
