Description |
Interior of old Town Hall, 1885
"This is the main floor and some of you, who never saw this interior will wonder why the Town ever abandoned the building. For some reason the camera did not show the dirt and grime, for this room was far from being the beautiful place the picture would indicate.
But we who spent many happy hours here, at the Sun-light dances, at Town meetings - and shows will cherish the memory of this soon forgotten building. And a few of the older Masons will never forget the seemingly unending stairs which led to their rooms on the top floor." |
