On label: "The Samuel Chandler House, Built before 1845, stood on the site of Mr. Ernest C. Martin's Drug Store; later occupied by Charles H. Rankin. Some of those in the picture are: Charles Child, Charles H. Rankin, "Chippy" Rankin, Arthur Fletcher, Chief Charles H. Franks, J. Fred Hutchinson, Edward Nourse, Michael O'Brien, William B. Foster, Angus McKenzie, Patrick F. Dacey. Picture taken April 19, 1890."
