Abstract Letter from Allan Forbes to Edwin B. Worthen Sr., May 9, 1940, concerning the history of the Myopia and Beacons baseball teams and games played in Lexington, as well as information on the history of Centennial House. Specifically, "the teams lunched at the Centennial House in East Lexington and later played the game on Lexington Common," perhaps on April 15, 1876 according to an article in the Lexington Minuteman.

The back of the letter includes handwritten notes on baseball teams, games played, and the Centennial House.
