Abstract |
"Urges Recall of Town Officials," Lexington Minute Man, December 6, 1962
Robert Sherman describes a meeting of the Lexington Civic Association, in which Victor A. McCrossen urged the audience to petition the recall from office of all town meeting members, the moderator, and the school committee. McCrossen especially noted the fiscal irresponsibility of the school committee, and the upward trend of taxes. Former school committeeman Gordon Steele defends the town officials. Includes commentary from other attendees.
