Abstract "I Accuse," Vincent A. McCrossen, Lexington Minute Man, March 13, 1969

McCrossen worries about the future of public schools, as he sees many cities on the East Coast closing down their public schools due to mismanagement of funds. McCrossen suggests a year-round calender for public schools. McCrossen laments the poor education Lexington students are currently receiving. He berates non-teaching personnel (administrators, coordinators, guidance counselors) for burdening the teachers and standing in the way of the educative process. McCrossen "states the inevitability of disaster" if fiscal trends to not change.
