||"Through Our Youth," Ellen Parker Allen, The Lexington Minute Man, June 26, 1969
Ellen Parker Allen has little hope that Lexington, too long a "reactionary backwash of liberal Establishment extremists," will benefit from the "healthy forces of mainstream Americanism and honesty reinvigorated by Senator Goldwater in 1964." Allen urges young Republicans and Democrats to organize to support honest, mainstream candidates to oust the liberal establishment.
