Locke, Chairman, Board of Selectmen, requesting assistance in the efforts of the Town Committee on the Fifth Treasury Bond Drive to place a flag or banner across Massachusetts Avenue, from the Hunt Building to the Savings Bank building.

17.21b.06-2, June 13, 1944. Letter from Hazel J. Murray, on behalf of the Selectmen, to Edwin B. Worthen, informing him that the Selectmen voted to grant the request for permission to place a banner or flag across Massachusetts Avenue during the period of the Fifth Treasury Bond Drive.
