Abstract Two letters regarding the accession of files by the Lexington Historical Society related to civil defense activities during World War II, 1950.

17.21b.09-1, May 24, 1950. Letter to Amy E. Morse, Curator, Lexington Historical Society, from Edwin B. Worthen, requesting that a record be made in the acquisition book and index noting that all records of the Report Center and Airplane Watch (tower) maintained on Robinson Hill during World War II have been turned over to the Lexington Historical Society. Two large packages have been placed in the vault of the Cary Memorial Building.
