ACTIVE BYSTANDER TRAINING .................... GR 4-6

In partnership with LexPride
Learn how to recognize when you are a bystander, analyze the situations in which you find yourself, and evaluate the consequences for everyone involved. Learn how bystanders can interrupt harm doing and generate positive actions by others. Active Bystander Training emphasizes that active bystandership does not mean aggression against the harm doer. It means taking responsible action to help people in need, instead of remaining passive and becoming complicit. Gain the competencies you need when you witness something you feel is unfair, wrong, or troubling.
Attendance is limited.** Sign up online (carylibrary.org) beginning Monday, February 5 at 7:00 pm. Phone reservations begin at 7:30 pm.
