Cary Memorial Library affirms its commitment to making its services accessible to all users. We have the following available to patrons; please ask for assistance at any public desk.


For people who are blind, have low vision, or have other problems reading:



For people who are deaf or hard of hearing:

  • Volume controls on PCs and public telephone
  • Headphones for use in the library
  • Induction Loop and Assistive Listening System in the Large Meeting Room
  • Portable Assistive listening system for residents to borrow for use outside the library



For people with a motor disability:

  • Designated handicapped parking spaces
  • Ramp at the front entrance
  • Elevator and ramps inside the Library
  • Wheelchair for use in the library
  • Accessible restrooms
  • Wheelchair accessible library catalog computer with large-print keyboard on each floor
  • Door-to-Door delivery service for those unable to get to the library
