Student Reading Challenge

Massachusetts Center for the Book: 2025-2026 Student Reading Challenge

Will You Take the Challenge? Student Reading Challenge Jun '25-May '26

Created by the Massachusetts Center for the Book, the 2025-2026 Student Reading Challenge will push you out of your reading comfort zone!

How the Challenge Works:

  • Pick up your passport at Cary Library
  • Choose a book that fits the monthly challenge. If you're stuck, consider asking a Cary Library staff member for a recommendation!
  • After you read, bring your passport back to Cary Library, tell a staff member about the book that you’ve read and get a sticker for your passport.

Want to earn prizes?

Participants who read 4 months, 8 months, and all 12 months are eligible for small prizes provided by the Massachusetts Center for the Book.  If you want to redeem your prizes from Cary Library, you must be completing your Student Reading Challenge through your Beanstack account.  Once we have received the prizes from MCB, we’ll email you with details on how to pick them up.

Readers who wish to earn even more prizes, can complete the monthly log form with the Massachusetts Center for the Book and be entered into their raffle
