Summer Learning Program - Teens @Cary

Summer Bucket List

Summer Bucket List @Cary

Summertime can be a great time for you to explore things that you may not have time to do during the busy school year. Our Summer Bucket List is full of fun activities to keep teens reading, learning, creating, and staying active all summer long while earning prizes!

There are 7  Summer Bucket List virtual badges – read; write; create; move/do; watch/listen; get to know Lexington; and explore beyond. Complete any 10 of the 15 suggested activities to earn a badge and the prize that comes with it!  Complete the badges in any order, so start with what interests you most.  You do NOT need to finish a badge before staring another one.  You can work on as many badges as you wish at the same time.

The Summer Bucket List is open to students entering 6th - 12th grades. The program begins on June 15th and runs through August 31st. The last day to claim prizes is Saturday, September 7, 2019. The prizes for completing a badge are books, candy, or a coupon to Abbott’s Frozen Custard (the Get to Know Lexington badge).

Summer Bucket List is sponsored by The Friends of Cary Memorial Library.
