Summer Challenges for All
Summer Reading Challenge
Let’s read for 3000 hours! Will you help us reach our community goal?
Starting June 14, you can set your own reading goal. Read at least 20 minutes a day to reach a goal of 24 hours or read for an hour and a half every day to read over 100 hours by August 30. Set your target anywhere in between or beyond!
Time spent reading in any format and in any language you can understand will count towards both your personal goal and our community goal. Think about all of the books in your to-be-read (TBR) pile or select one of the monthly book challenges from Mass Center for the Book. Fiction or nonfiction, cookbooks, magazines, audiobooks, e-books—it’s all reading!
You may track your progress on Beanstack or download a paper Reading Log [PDF] to track offline. Reading must be logged in Beanstack to contribute to our community goal.
Beanstack
Beanstack is the online tracker we use for reading and learning challenges here at Cary Library, and you’ll find it at carylibrary.beanstack.org. For logging on the go, try the Beanstack Tracker app!
