Summer Challenges

This summer, adults can go on a Reading Road Trip! Pick up your passenger sheet, write your name on it, and pin it to the Idea Wall at Cary Library to join fellow readers on the journey. Track your progress as you make your way through 7 stops, each with 3 different reading suggestions. Read 7 books before summer's end and one lucky adult could win a Rancatore's gift card.

This summer, kids and teens entering Kindergarten through 12th grade can collect dragon trading cards and train their dragons by reading every day. Time spent reading helps your dragons evolve as your mind expands. Fiction or nonfiction, comics, magazines, audiobooks, e-books—any format or language—it’s all reading! For best results, read for at least 15 minutes each day.
